Chisom Nwafor takes up her place at Kansas State University with her confidence bolstered by retaining her English Schools Long Jump crown by a convincing margin. She also added the England Athletics National U20 Long Jump title and finished the season ranked at Number 1 on the Power of 10.
In a very full season, she also made her debut for Thames Valley Harriers as her Higher Claim Club (HCA). She played a significant part in their retention of the UK wide National Athletic League title for the fourth year in a row. She competed for TVH in both the Long Jump and Shot and in both events set Club records in these events,
Other athletes in impressive National form were Lilianne Jervis-Allan and Emile Morti.
